Firestone Country Club

Presented by

The Event

Join the YMCA of Greater Cleveland and feel like a pro for a day as you follow in the foot-steps of iconic golfing heroes of days past such as Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus at the world-renowned Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio.

The South Course currently is utilized for Professional Golf Association (PGA) play that attracts such U.S. golf stars as Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott, Ricky Fowler and Tiger Woods.

The one-day YMCA of Greater Cleveland Golf Cup Classic charity golfing event will include an outdoor barbecue-grill luncheon and silent auction, snacks and beverages on the course, as well as an upscale VIP hors d’oeuvres reception and awards ceremony. All proceeds from the annual event will help to further and promote the YMCA cause.

The Greater Cleveland YMCA was established in 1854, and has since evolved into a premiere community based charitable organization with three areas of focus: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The Greater Cleveland YMCA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and a portion of your donation will be tax-deductible.
